うすむらさきの、讃歌 / Light Purple, Song of Praise

心の状態によって空の色は違って見える。
この紫色の空を見た時、この色をずっと忘れないでいたいと思った。
私は空の記憶を光の粒として縫った。

絹糸には光と影がある。
光を吸収し、反射し、多くの色を伴う柔らかな影を作る。
銀色や薔薇色の糸でその時々の空気を縫い、時の記憶を作った。
この作品を通して、どんな色に見える瞬間でも祝福したいと思った。
私はこれを「讃歌」と名付けた。

According to our state of mind, the sky’s colour appears different.
The moment I saw this purple sky, I wanted to keep it in mind for a long time.
I stitched the memory of the sky as grains of light.

Silk thread has both light and shadow.
It absobs light and reflects it, with soft shadows that are accompanied by many colours.
By stitching the atmosphere of the moment with silver and rose coloured silks, I created a memory of time.
Through this work, I wanted to bless any moment that looked like any colour.
I named it ‘Song of Praise.’
